The Weekend

Hi, I think most of the people reading this are single, and yes, I guess I am feeling a little low, but Friday and Saturday nights are never easy (when single). The sun just set and the weather in Manhattan Beach is always great in the winter as well as the summer. High 60's and sunny days and 50's at night. This is a small city, some 37,000 people and you pretty much know most of the residents. I usually find something to do on Friday and Saturday nights because you can walk everywhere or it is a short bike ride to many restaurants, etc. But I have found in the 4 weeks since I have been back, that I do not want to go out at night or talk on the phone, except with my family (who have been super!!). Why? Because I know many people here and everyone is very nice and asks "how are you feeling." Grrrrr. I don't want to be a whiner, but it's hard to say."oh, fine." So I hide out. I do hope you all have a good weekend and I will be in touch next week. RR
