Humpty Dumpty

At least that's what I feel like. I have fallen and I am trying to put the pieces back together!! On February 7, I will undergo long awaited cataract surgery on my left eye. For the last 10 years I have had "smudgy" vision due to cataracts, but the eye doctor said it wasn't "bad enough." Well, now they are bad enough. This is the only operation I am looking forward to.

There will be some new photos from the Journey in next week's Newsletter. Typically, the Newsletters come out on Tuesdays. A "revised" Newsletter will come out today, Saturday. It is the same one as published earlier this week, but with some new info and a few funny children pictures. Best wishes to you all, and much thanks again for all of the e-mails of support. Hello from RR

Hi folks, Joe, and Stuart (our wonderful publicist and marketing expert) and I are hard at work trying to arrange some great social events. You all know that we are trying to get more good men involved with the cruises and other get-togethers.. This is one of the major reasons we have sought out great people to work with, and thus far that has been Holland America Lines and PerfectMatch. Both of these organizations appeal to audiences, generally, 45 and over. Joe and Stuart and I have conference calls with the Marketing Departments of both companies this week. Bottom line on all of this.....To provide ways for "us" to have fun. To meet new and exciting men and women, to travel, to share stories, and support each other when needed. I never thought I would be one of the beneficiaries of the latter!!!!

Tomorrow's Newsletter has the tentative Subject of.....Surgery+The Royal Family of Monaco. Please try to have your friends and work associates sign up for the weekly Newsletters. It only takes 30 seconds. The more the merrier!! Bye for now, Richard Roe
