Dear Willemina, I havn't figured out how to do that yet!! In fact it has been a great concession just giving in and getting a blog site up. When Richard and Joe stopped ANONYMOUS posters, I was put back because everyone knew I was Anonymous Lady Jayne. I thought that freedom of choice was very important!! I now understand the purpose behind Richard's decision so, I retired my stubborn streak, gave in, and here I am on the blog again. This is how I feel: If I don't like the rules of the blog, then I can just get off of it. The SB Blog is not mine. I am a guest and will conduct myself as such. I will not bash men. I gave birth to three of them, and I see what some of these girls can be like. They won't even wash a Waterford, Irish crystal glass. Just leave it sitting in the sink for my son to wash. And, don't you know, I have my opinions. I will take a look at how you can communicate with me on my blog, but to be perfectly honest, at this time I really don't want a lot of messages. "All the Best", Jayne P.S. Willemina, did you notice that I retired the Lady Jayne. First, the ANONYMOUS, THEN THE LADY and now only the Jayne. That title really does not suit me. No royalty in my family, just a grown up little girl from a lower middle class family, but with a lot of class inherited from my father.

Love the pics! There's Paula right up front looking wonderful! and Sturgis Improv- If I saw a Chicago Improv group I would not want to come home, I would run away with the circus!
A scary thought just occurred to me. Is anyone else wondering if Richard has a whole set of those hats, chartreuse with beaded rhinestone plum hat band? (He’s certainly a plum, ripe for the picking, now isn’t he ladies?) Electric blue w/ faux snake skin , Naples yellow with fuchsia feather boa band? Can you imagine THE HATS going through customs!--each one in its separate little theme case? Funny. . . no? The customs agents breaking into song, line dancing –“Purple Haze all through ma brain! I’d travel with Jimi Hendrix any day if he were drug free, healthy and, of course, alive. If he were IN A BOX I’d travel with him not alive. No WEEKEND AT BERNIE’S for me.
Benny Hinn’s new wide pin stripe suit and tie that has some kind of graphic minutia I can’t figure out would be so perfect for those hats! (I can watch Benny Hinn for about 4.7 minutes for a little character study but mostly to see what he is wearing.) What’s with the wide pinstipes and clashy ties anyway? First Benny, now Leno and even Charlie Rose- who at least had a purple tie, great Zuess! Everyone’s going CHICAGO!
I can't wait to see the Hat Party hats!!! I’m going to have fun making mine. IT’s going to be VERY Chicago!

Dear Friends,

To answer some e-mails and other questions, No, I am not in Chicsgo now.

I interputed Richard's 1st gathering was to match who he could with Paperwork, etc. I asked enough, maybe even too many, questons at MB that I think he remembers me, which was one of my goals.

I did post some new photoes on my blog that just don't show well here.

I can surely appreciate his work and task because, even just as an ordinary person, I have already gotten JUNK Mail Comments that I clicked the trash can on. Goooosh--- some people do different things then I have time for.

I will try to post my untouched photo on the blog in a moment. I think it is good because we both share the same kind of smile (And that came naturally)

Thanks for asking.

So much for getting off at 1pm this afternoon. I ended up working until 3 and then went to spend a little time with my mom. Now I'm home and contemplating washing my car...but I'd rather do something fun...like a cruise on a beautiful lake or something?

When you're single, you learn to do so many things for yourself...ie; mow the lawn, wash the car, take out the trash, right ladies?

I am going to spend a few minutes reading todays posts and may have some more comments later...

I've gotten many e-mails asking how someone who's never been to Chicago knows so much about it?

Hi Jayne...AKA Lady Jayne
Yes, I did notice the name changing :) hey, are you REALLY Jayne?

Your blog is fine just the way it is...especially if you don't want lots of comments...although, come to think of it...I don't get many comments on my blog...maybe no one is interested in me or my life? So sad, oh well, I will survive and my life will go on. By the way, I posted some new pictures on my blog last night...just in case anyone is interested???

desertfox aka desertflowers
Cute picture! Someone had to add that fox in there electronically! No way could those foxhounds miss him!!! LOL I love it!!!

Cathy in Chicago who used to be Cathy in Carolina
I love the pictures on your blog! Thank you and I want to comment on what you were wearing last night...You look absolutely adorable...I want the exact same outfit, hat included. (Although it may not look as great on me)...you look fabulous! I'll be checking your blog often for more pictures from Chicago!

Sunni I too have to get out my trusy magnifying glass to have a close up look at the photos...
As for drinking...did someone say drinking? Well, I am only a social drinker. I love a good glass of wine (hey, like I've said before, I live in beautiful wine country in Central California and it's in our blood...anyone see the movie "sideways"? there you go...
Actually, I get my high on life. I live life to the fullest and enjoy every minute of it...

Ellen aka Droma
I am an Oma but not recently that I know of...maybe someone else? I have 4 grandchildren ages 16,7,5 and 4. Although I would love to have another...Yep, I do all that manly stuff around the house now that I don't have a man around, ie; mow the lawn, wash the car, take out the trash, although I no longer shovel snow :)

CJ I hope you're feeling better soon. I have only had one UTI that I can recall and that was when I was living in Korea. I had to go to the emergency room late at night it hurt so bad. Overall, I have been very lucky with my health and I remember I was very miserable at that time. I'm sure Dr Oma will have some good advice for you...

Lois aka operawench
Glad to hear you also mow your own lawn. Mine isn't all that big either...I like the compliments from my neighbors though, Yesterday as I was mowing, a passerby stopped to offer me $750,000 for my house! I said "It's worth more than that to me and it's not for sale". Tomorrow I'll post a pic of my house on my blog...with the georgeous lawn :)

Lois
You mentioned Zoe and I've been wondering if anyone has heard from her? She's a sweetheart and I miss her...

Well, I may have some more comments later but for now I think I'll wash my car...

I checked Brenda's blog and she has some great comments about Chicago! I almost felt like I was there too. Some great pics too...and I'm sure we'll get more because that's just the kind of click girl she is..

Hey Dana Point Lois I know - why in the heck are we sitting at home? I spent the entire day with my sister picking out fabric to make customs drapes for their brand new custom home. I have no life. LOL I love soft jazz and was just listening to "Deep Purple" do you remember that song?

Sunni I know you don't remember it you and Linda are too young. GRIN

Sunni I know Linda was up late every night posting on the NNBBSH site and now look at us. BNDC doesn't have any photos of the events. Our gals need to get together on this picture posting thing. They're probably fast asleep and forgot all about us. Darn it.

Hello Ladies,
Hope you all enjoyed Brenda's photos and commentary on her Blog. What a sweetie she is!

I have to agree with the other MB ladies that I'm kind of glad not to be in Chicago this weekend. Richard has enough to handle, omg!!! I loved the MB event in that it was casual and we were close to the beach! I loved being able to sing there too.

Well I didn't sit home tonight but I did keep a watch on my watch and thinking about what the Chicago group was doing. I went to the movies with a friend and saw "Constant Gardener". Wow it's a powerful movie that I hope isn't true, so much corruption in the world. The movie is an excellent conversation piece and I loved, loved the music soundtrack!

Richard, I'm so happy to hear that you got out and boogied with your Badd Self...LOL! I would have been dancing all night. I hope the band was good.

Joe, thanks so much for all the photos posted. I'm so looking forward to the cruise photos...party on Dude!

I am up way too late but I didn't get home from the movies until 1:30am.

Love to you all,
Lois

JOE: The pictures I took on the Cruise are wonderful. I'm puting them in the mail today. The one of you and the little girl dancing is great. It should go on the Blog.

Ladies this was a wonderful, fun experence for everyone involed. I'm so blessed that I was able to be here. I've met so many more wonder women.

Dinner at LaCantina was fabulous.
The Cruise with the great food, live band, firework and a "whole lot of shakin going on" will always be a fun memory.

By the way you should see our SB shake his BOOTIEE pretty cute.
I loved the way he joined in with all of us and it was a fun nite.
Joe and Umberto were pretty adorable, too.
