A new image? Find the theme!

Buongiorno Ragazze,

Umberto is typing, so don't get confused. Richard, your favorite Bachelor, asked me to create a new image for our website and since the California RAIN is keeping me from my beloved surfing, here I am WORKING for all of you.

There is a new image on the Senior Bachelor home page-- have you seen it yet?! Click here to see it. Is it too romantic and not enough adventurous? I don't know, but the photos are great, RIGHT??? You may have guessed who's the photographer. If you didn't, here are some hints for you: he comes from the "old continent", has a big but attractive nose, kind of shy...ohhh and he's the Jr. Bachelor! hahahah

Let's be serious: there is a main theme that relates one image to the other. I'd love to know your impressions about what you see and FEEL!

Ok amiche mie, please enjoy your day and don't forget to smile!

Umberto

Hello all,
Don't tell me that I am the first to post here......!
I clicked on the link but it brings me back to the same home page and I can't find anything different. ?? Can you clarify. Or maybe I jumped in too soon?

Hugs,
Chandra

Chandra,

Perhaps you should click on the "refresh" button (the one on your browser that has two green arrows in a cirle). That should bring up the new image.

Enjoy!

Setting sun...
Tide going out...
Flowers in bloom...

Nature in its late stages - is that the theme?

The nature photos are romantic, sure, and I suppose that theme also applies to people over the age of 45. It's just a bummer when you stop to think about it that way.

Let's not forget that tomorrow the sun will rise & shine, the tide will come back in, and flower bulbs florish again in spring! The old guys & gals ain't dead yet!

You asked for feedback Umberto, so, respectfully, I'd keep tweeking it. :)

Good work Umberto,

I couldn't tell what the image on the left lower half of page was, chocolate?? or a petal from the flowers??? Just thought I would mention that, but I think the entire page does speak of romance, the adventure might be hard to depict in the same page or may be people have ideas???

A time-share salesman once told me that I had not lived until I had riden bare-back and bare-breasted on horse back on the beaches in the Carribean, What do you think, that really captures the Adventure theme??

I am just kidding Umberto, i do not think it would be apppropriate either, I was just letting my imagination go on the Adventure theme, but someone riding down the beach o horse back, not bare-breasted might work.

You did ask for suggestions and ask Richard, we are full of them!!!

Hi, everyone..I've been out of town this weekend...no, not at a tournament, though there is another one this coming weekend. The last three days were personal time...oooooo, I really needed it.
Just a couple of quick "catch ups": Willimena, danapointLois, and coach are very serious about meeting at Willy's place in central CA this winter, probably sometime in January.... All of you who are interested in "stoolsitting", please go to her blog and we will make arrangements there, O.K? I think we beat the stool to death (...oops, NO!! dont' do it!, don't get it started again ladies!) here on RR's blog, so we will continue on Willimena's!
And secondly, to LindainTuscon...you are welcome...you are special...and you are loved!
and finally....Umberto Superb job...you guys are REALLY getting PROFESSIONAL. My best to the three of you...we met you and loved you at the MB and CHI event: Richard, Joe, and Umberto...what a powerful threesome!!

Hi my pal Joe,
Thanks for your help, my friend. My problem is that I am getting a new computer in about a month so I have to put up with the system that I have now with no refresh on it. I did get into my Internet Explorer for the new site and it looks great! Oh, well, I have an expression that is one of my favorites, "no one ever said it would be easy."
Thanks, Joe, you never let us down! You are old faithful! (Easy on the "old"......)

I think the new photo is
verrrry romantic...but what else
would we expect from a surfing
Italian in sunny (rainy?) California!!
And sunsets are my favorite time with
a new man in my life....I agree with
Cathy about the washed pebble, at first
glance I didn't even notice it, but then
it's shape was just a bit odd!!! Is it supposed
to be heart shaped?

Lois Thanks for the post!!!
Many Hugs to you!!!

Hi Umberto,
Your photo collage is fabulous....however...truth to tell........I find it reminds me of advertisements for "life in the hearafter"...or adds directed at seniors planning their imminent death and "plot" selection. It could be very well that I worked in Palliative Care for years and am overly sensitive to "pick your plot" adds directed at us "senoirs"!!!! SO PLEASE!!....It is absolutely not my intention to offend you, by any means!!...it is mearly but an observation...beyond that I find it utterly magnificent ..........in that I see what you see....... and what we see is beautiful!!

Je me suis demandee "Qu'est-ce qu'on dit au sujet de la photo?" C'etait necessaire (pour moi) de la regarder encore. Umberto, TU ES MAGNIFIQUE! et photographe fantastique! Hello everyone...

Linda in Tucson
I pray that you are finding new strength everyday...just be aware that you have many new friends here rooting for you and wishing you every happiness...God Bless

Coach and Lois... I started a new blog for our January get-together. Now we have to come up with a date...maybe in the next 2 weeks so everyone who wants to come can make their plans? This is going to be so much fun! (Shar, notice how I didn't say anything about stools?)

Val the Gal
Did you notice that you called the hurricane "willy"? I'm really very calm...not like a hurricane at all.

My sister spoke with my niece in Miami again this afternoon. They had no power and a large piece of sheet metal hit her car and broke the rear window and also did some body damage. She is okay and her apartment suffered no damage. I have been trying to reach my son's god-parents in West Palm Beach and haven't been able to get thru to them...Paula, isn't that where you live? I hope all is okay with you?

I hope that all of our friends who blog here from Florida are okay...my thoughts and prayers are with you all...

Umberto
Whatever Leslie said...the same goes for me. I'm sure that what ever she said was sweet because she's such a sweet person...just like me! By the way, I commented on the new picture on the previous blog...It's beautiful and serene just like love and romance should be.

I missed the message about Babette? Is she ok?

teadrinker2
Welcome...I love tea...I always start my day with a cup of hot tea (Lipton natural is my favorite although I also like chai and green tea) When I was young, my mother made us a pot of tea every morning...with real tea leaves we had to strain. I guess it's always stuck with me. I also love my coffee about an hour later...

If anyone is interested in a get-together on the Central Coast of California in January...please visit my blog and leave a message. We'll figure out a date that works best for everyone...

Goodnight one and all

Love and hugs

just figured it out! The Theme is "walking hand in hand along a moonlit beach, finding a pebble that the surf has washed up...the symbolism is "the pebble is your soul-mate, ...the tide, washing up on the sands of time, the petals...symbolic of the romance that lies ahead...and so on and so forth"...am i close Umberto?
