Umberto-A Great Person
HI, Today Umberto leaves Santiago, Chile to return to his home town of Lerici, Italy. I wanted to let everybody know that Umberto was a great traveling companion, superior photographer (as you can see by checking out the Photo Page on www.seniorbachelor.com) and great with Vicki and Gael. There were many times, especially during Gael's visit, that I had other things to take care of, and Umberto would graciously see all was taken care of. Of course I wish him well and I am working on his return for the two cruises so we all can have our own personal paparazzo!! I am starting to answer some of the e-mails, and in time, will answer all of them individually. Thanks so much for writing. Richard Roe

Goodbye, Umberto!
It was a great pleasure meeting you in Chicago, and you gave all of us women a great new friend in addition to Richard and Joe. Your ability in photography is exquisite, and I thank you for the way you made us feel that we were all along for the trip!
Have a safe trip home and I look forward to seeing you again on the cruise!
Caio for now,
Karen
Umberto, I'm so glad I got to meet you in MB. As a fellow artist, I will remember the awesome visions of beauty you contributed to the SB journey. Truely, they transported us to places our hearts could only dream of at the time. I think your pictures should be in a gallery. I'm doing my impressions of some of the photos, but they don't capture the color you created with your camera. I'm hoping we will meet again. M.M. Corbett
Bonjourno Richard, Joe, Co. and bloggers!
'Richie Rich' nice to see you on the blog as usual!
JOE: hello :)
MARY/MARY: how is our 'lamb'? sending hugs
UMBERTO:
Thank you for casting your light through the amazing photographs, I will not say goodbye but rather, 'till we meet again! Have a safe journey back home to Lerici Italy....Ciao fora now ;)

Projected expectations may be preventing you from relating to your friends on a realistic level today. You could be going through a period of change and may be hoping that one of your friends will offer you help or guidance.
It may be useful for you to remember today that the most pertinent answers to any questions or problems you could be facing are likely to come from within, not from any well-meaning people around you.
You might think about clearing a channel to receive guidance from within by quieting your mind today. You may come closer to your own inner wisdom if your mind is truly still… silent
The source of our solutions lies within. There we can find answers to our most important questions. When life presents us with substantial changes, we can get the guidance we need to deal most effectively with these changes from this same source.
We, alone, have the knowledge and experience needed to create solutions for our unique circumstances, to pick the path that will lead us to our ultimate happiness.
Richard Roe, be still, clear a pathway to the source within you today, and you will get the help and answers you need.

You are offering good 'medicine' for our 'leading man' and I for one am learning a lot from these Teachings too. At times I am swept away by the strong currents and THE only way I gain my course is to look within for the answers.
G-D Bless RR, YOU, Sisters and Brothers on the blog!

UMBERTO, aufwiedersehen! It was a pleasure to meet U in MB & CHI. Wise beyond your years. Your aura reflects an "old soul", if I may be permitted to say that.
You, the man, with 5+ languages have made the SeniorBachelor adventure a joy to follow.
Your family & friends must be proud of you and glad to have you back, however I'm sure having said that, your a click away. Your extended family here will be thrilled to see you on your return. Hoping you'll e-mail photos from Italy & see you on the SB Alaskan Cruise.

Hi All, I do appreciate your interest. I met with my 4th different urologist yesterday. I have also met with my regular doctor, and the results were all the same. Given my situation, surgery gives me the best chance. So surgery it is but I must wait 6 weeks from the time of the biopsy, which places the operation time around the third week of February. The debate now is which doctor and which kind of surgery. On the plus side, the weather is beautiful here in Manhattan Beach and I just played 2 hours of volleyball. Thanks again for all of your concern. Very best wishes, Richard Roe
MARY/MARY: had a little lamb....;)
Wishing MerryMary a speedy recovery, prayers and thoughts to you two/too :)

Dear Richard!
Thanks for the update! How nice to be on the beach playing volleyball with your Sons again and basking in the warm California sunshine:)
It must have been a joy to see your Grandkids too, they change on a daily basis when so young!
11 weeks to go before my Stuart arrives home from Uganda, been a long six months. He was away in India for over 3 months approx. 3 years ago, Student Exchange program, a 'feather in his cap' for sure!

p.s. hello Joe :)
Hello Richard,
You sure got the VIP treatment.
On 1/13/06 body scan, and within 3 days you got to see 4 Urologists plus your "regular" doctor.
Want to reveal the name of your insurance, please?
Us mere mortals could use care like that, all that waiting is soo nerve racking!

You may have a strong desire to have your material or romantic needs met today. If your needs are satisfied, you may realize at some point that you are distracting yourself from any goals you may have set. If you can get a handle on your powerful emotions, however, you could channel all your passion toward what you want to accomplish-both in work and in love. After all, love and success do not have to be mutually exclusive in life. Balance and focus may be the key elements you need today to channel your energy into the proper directions and in the right increments. Your passions can serve your purpose today.
Channeling our passions toward what we desire can make it easier to create what we want in our lives. Our passions tend to be fueled by strong emotions or desires that can serve as the extra fuel we need to inspire and propel us forward. When we take that energy and harness it in the direction of our goals, manifestation becomes more effortless because we are riding on the momentum of our passions rather than letting our desires override us. Channel your passions toward your goals today, and you will find that you have the desire and focus to make them happen.

Dear SB Bloggers, Friends,
Just took a moment to catch up and Thanks again, Ella; Focusing with Passion seems to be a major KEY.
And Friends help us do that.
Hugs and Love

Do You do Personal Astrological Charts? I had mine done a few years ago by the Kabbalistic Astrologer who goes back into the very recent Past Life and assists in showing what is important and relevant to work on in this Lifetime so that I do not repeat the patterns that will hold me back, but rather push me forward! She touched on certain aspects of my Past Lives that have manifested in this one, and boy oh boy it is as clear as crystal.....I have a lot of work t'do but having FUN whilst 'correcting' it ;) I had to laugh as she was 'right on the button'...LOL!

p.s. I am fascinated by THE STARS as the Astrological Chart is our BLUEPRINT/MAP. Shirley Maclaine's Site shirleymaclaine.com talks about this too, fascinating!!!

ooops...astrological chart????....astrology chart:)
Dear friends,
First of all please excuse me for not having written right away, but as I got home (after 27 hours), after seeing all my friends and “fans” (just kidding), spending a few moments with my family (Federica, Franco and my tiny little Scottish terrier GINA), I had to face major internet problems that kept me away from all of you… but here I am now!
First of all, Richard: thank you for such a wonderful experience, thank you for the time spent with you, your family and friends, thank you for your wonderful thoughts and words… what a friend! I could not be any luckier.
To Vicki and Gael… wonderful travel companions and friends!!! Thanks for surviving my endless teasing!
To Joe and Nancy, to Jimmy and “Blondie”… what can I say other than “FAMIGLIA”?
And to you, bachelorettes and SB followers… all the love you gave me would be enough to fill the world. You are all too kind. Your comments about my work, the attention you gave to this wonderful project / mission… THANK YOU ALL!!!!
It has been an honour to shoot for you.
Ciao

P.S. I will soon post some photos of Italy… just give me a few days to “acclimatize”!

Seizing Second Chances…
Aries
You might consider resubmitting any ideas you may have had recently that are related to your work, as the results today may be more favorable than they were the last time. If you have been asked to speak with someone a second time, or have been called back to pick up where you left off in an interview situation, returning to do this may provide you with a boost of self-confidence.
Your self-assurance should lead to talks going more smoothly. You may also find that your demeanor today is more pleasant and self-assured as you engage with other individuals in your work arena. Any pleasantries or greetings you offer people should elicit positive responses.
Seizing second chances increases the odds of getting what we wish and seeing our desired results come to fruition. Our first attempt at any given effort need not be our last and, in hindsight, can be viewed as practice for any subsequent attempts we make.
Repeated efforts to put ourselves and our ideas out into the universe show that we are committed to our goals and illustrate that we believe in the contributions we can make, given the opportunity. Our commitment and confidence invites others to believe in us and motivates them to give us and our ideas a chance. Claim your seat once more at any table today, and you should get the results you have been hoping for.

Thank you for the well wishes. I am just now checking in so feel so good that you care. My sister is still here and I can't drive for 4 weeks so guess I'll just eat and sleep. Richard, I am happy to hear your news too and feel we'll both be bouncing back and dancing on the ship. Take care all and lots of love, MM
Umberto, So glad you had a safe trip home, I am sure you were very happy to see all of your family and friends. We will miss you and hope you keep in touch with your photo's of Italy. It would be wonderful to see and hear more about your country.
Hello Ladies,
Just a quick note to say Hello! Been very busy with kid's sports and work. Richard is back in full swing and seems to be energized by focusing on promoting Romance and Adventure mission. We should have some fun things cooking in a few weeks for everyone so stay tuned!
Merry Mary, glad your surgery went well. Hugs from California!
Umberto- so glad you made it home safely! I am so grateful you decided to stay with my family while you were in Manhattan Beach. You made such a terrific impression on my kids and now they can hardly wait to visit you in Italy at Christmas. You really helped to open their eyes to the world! We are keeping your beloved surf board safe and hope to get it to you soon.
Got to run. Hugs all around!
