Meet The Senior Bachelor-September 1, 2

The Newsletter announcing this meeting will come out tomorrow. The bloggers have had a 3 day heads-up, and some of your questions were incorporated into this Newsletter. Thanks for your input.

I just arrived in Houston. I was invited to be a guest speaker for a Diversity and Cultural Program for Shell Oil. At a luncheon tomorrow, for more than 100 people, Pop&Me will be shown, and then I will answer questions. I fly to New Orleans in the late afternoon Tuesday, and do the same talk Wednesday, then back to LA Thursday. I LOVE doing things like this. Making a documentary film is all about THE MESSAGE. Yes, Senior Bachelor is also about the message. And all of you are well aware of that message!!

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank two men who have been working tirelessly behind the scenes for the Senior Bachelor endeavor. Stuart Wolf and Joe Franklin. Stuart hails from Chicago, and I first met Stuart when I appeared on Oprah in June of 2000. For the past few years, Stuart has helped guide me through the many proposals with Oprah, and was responsible for my latest appearance this past April on her show, and also responsible for the People Magazine article this past June. Stuart is a Public Relations & Marketing guru, and a great husband and father of two children. My most sincere thanks to you Stuart. Joe Franklin lives in Manhattan Beach, and also is a great husband and father of two children. Joe and I met about 6 years ago at a local morning coffee shop where we argued about politics and discussed world situations, along with my good friend, and 75 year old surfer, Sol Levy. Joe is a computer genius, and I am the opposite. Joe is mainly responsible for the Senior Bachelor website, and I can assure, you that in itself, is a full time job. Joe edits, and proofreads the Newsletters that I write, and then sees that they get published. A great big thank you to you as well, Joe. That's it for now folks. Have fun on the blog. Richard Roe

All that I can say is "bout time!"

Richard, if you like shopping, (maybe you have to get a little something for the grandchildren) you must go to the Galleria "G" in Houston.

When Nick was attending UH and I'd fly in for a game I did my share of helping the local economy at the "G". I LOVE HOUSTON!!! GO COUGARS!!!!

Maybe non-notification indicates that one is no longer being considered a candidate? Again, J/W

A couple girls wanted to chat me up, (maybe something to do w/the work I do re:alcohol addiction?)I do have a blog now (nothing fancy, but you can contact me there)

I know that some of my questions were not answered for whatever reason and some comments were not apreciated. But after many sleepless nights of thinking that if i take a risk and join you in one of the said events, my chance of being one of the 6 might improve. Unfortunately, i am short in funds at this point and if there is a cheaper way to attend this event,(flying to Arizona and carpooling with the sistehood is out) will you please email me and let me know? you can click on my name and it should take you to my profile where you will find my email. Please i need your advice. I know that you are my soulmate. And i was raised to serve our man and we believe that man is the king of the house. I will be at your service. good night and i'll see you in my dreams...

K,

I made my reservation to stay at the Ayres at Manhattan Beach, now what? I'm thinking that there must be a cut-off number of attendees.

BTW, I was told that reservations are going quickly.

I am going to fly into LAX on the 1st and leave on the 2nd
(have a Dobbie's Brother's concert to attend on Friday).

I hope this is going to be fun. I've never, ever done anything like this before. I'm wondering if it is going to be a mad house.

If I assumed wrong and I am not supposed to attend could someone please let me know, I would appreciate that (before I put in the time, effort, and $$$$.)

Thnx

Canadian Bloggette:
Rather than go in to detail, read Richard's blog today (Monday Aug 15th) and he explains who Stuart Wolf is and also his friend Joe Franklin and Sol Levy. I sometimes get overwhelmed by the blogs and find it hard to keep up. I find some postings to be rather bizarre and find it best to just read them and remain silent rather than respond. Just want you to know that I always enjoy your positive input and upbeat attitude. I have made my reservation for the Ayres and would so love to meet you!

Nancy Spencer:
Do you live in the LA area? I also don't recall seeing your name on the blogs...maybe you're like me and choose to remain silent most of the time? I am very familiar with the MB area as I grew up in Torrance. I am looking forward to spending the weekend in my hometown. I now live in the San Luis Obispo area which is about 230 miles north.

Richard: I am looking forward to meeting you in Manhattan Beach. When you mentioned meeting your friend Joe at a local coffee shop, I immediately thought of "Good Stuff" in Hermosa Beach which is where I used to stop in for breakfast when I was in the area. I love the beaches in the South Bay area and am looking forward to going "home" again. Debbie Eddy mentioned shopping at the Galleria in Houston, which reminded me of the Galleria at South Bay which is where I had my first job working at May Company (now Robinson May.) Although back in the 60's it was simply called the South Bay shopping center. My childhood home (for over 50 years) was near Hawthorne Blvd and Artesia.

Desertflowers:(Suzanne) and Linda in Tucson: Looking forward to meeting both of you in MB. Drive safely...I made reservations for both nights and may bring one of my daughters with me for emotional support, and if she can't make it, I will come alone because I do believe in love and romance and all it has to offer. Maybe Richard will choose to travel with me on one of his excursions and maybe not, but I am really looking forward to meeting him and also many of the fantastic women who have contributed to this endeavor.

I was hoping to dress up a little for the cocktail party as I don't get many occasions to dress up, but I do like beach casual too.

See you in Manhattan Beach!

I'm confused;??? Regarding this bit:

"At a luncheon tomorrow, for more than 100 people, Pop&Me will be shown, and then I will answer questions. I fly to New Orleans in the late afternoon Tuesday, and do the same talk Wednesday, then back to LA Thursday. I LOVE doing things like this. Making a documentary film is all about THE MESSAGE. Yes, Senior Bachelor is also about the message. And all of you are well aware of that message!!"

????????????????? Well so far the biggest message I seem to be getting here is more about :POP & ME" then anything else. Also it was perfectly expected that RR would require help in this endeaver but the guy RR mentions fron Chicago has been "working " with RR since 2000? HUH ?! Helping him what , promote the film, make his connections with "OPRAH", fine, all well and good, but what's this got to do with the price of "PROMOTING LOVE AND ROMANCE FOR ALL AGES " and love and romance for the "younger" ages isn't the problem as we all know, it's about the "uppper ages" that I thought was our focus. Sadly, again I'm starting to get that feeling of Richards journey/odyssey of his need to ride on his 15 minutes of fame. I know he has "sparingly" answered questions only when ABSOLUTLY neccessary.
I don't know, I mean call me old school, but if this is RR search then why is everyone coming to see him ; it's as if it's like some kind of cattle call for a "B" MOVIE. I had been trying to keep an open mind here from the beginning, even when I had my doubt's, but "MY FELLOW LADIES" I for one have more dignity then this. If anything I could accept the girls going if not for anything else but to meet one another, and quite frankly I would rather see it happen planned out, working with one another's schedule and economics. It all just smack tooooooo much of "come on down" and audition for the RR show.
Richard, as a gentleman, you eniciated this whole endeaver, it should be "YOU" making the time and expense to go out among your "contestant's and seek them out. I understand this is all "new" for you, buy maybe these "PR" guys have gotten a little carried away with the whole concept and have turned it into a feeding frenzy for all concerned.
I really should stop, I could go on with my opinion, and that is of course what it is "ONE WOMAN'S OPINION" but sad to say a disheartened, dissapointed, and disaloushioned woman. It just all seemed to good to be true.
I hope this is kept in , I would like to see if I'm the loney hunter here, but I know I won't give up, maybe just take a step back, re-group, and begin again on my own journey for "Love' first, romance and adventure. I think I may have just misunderstood, it was my impression that a life partner, if possible who loved to travel and experiance adventure with someone was what you were looking for.
I truly wish you GOD speed and luck in your search. I will continue to blog on here because I have immensely enjoyed the wonderful people I have met and believe that I was meant to have come this way to have had that happen and to learn something new in my life, (blogging)so it is definatly a positive experiance and I know I will be curious to see haw all of this pan's out. I know there is nothing I would enjoy more than to be wrong !!!!!
My love to everyone, goodnight and see all of you tomorrow.
If anyone would like, they can speak to me directly either on my blog site or go to the top and e-mail me. :) :)

PHYL - Help me out here!! LA DOLCE VIDA!
You got the nail right on the head!!

RR who 'he' is now versus the RR he portrayed himself to be, on Oprah (check his new website again, it's "In the Media")and on his website - has been a tad bit manipulated. That's business as usual. I wanted to think otherwise, but the reality just keeps jumping up in my face. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so, until proven contrary.

There are people on this site who may be giving you wrong info. Doubts? Ok, check out the Bio for Nancy Spencer, from Oregon, giving the dollar cost of $12 cab fare to MB?? I don't think so. Only $12?? From LAX? Beware of those you don't really know and the info they give. I'm serious. Even my own opinion. There are people out there just waiting to take advantage of our interchange. Have any of you seen SPAM in your blogs?

That being said: What do you women really want?? Amongst yourselves, you are all getting the notoriety that you want and deserve. I think that "managing your objectives" should be forefront.

Some of you are spending valuable money for a trip to southern California. What is your real objective in this? If you write, and think and believe, sincerely, that it is to connect with other similar women like you - then - BINGO! You won't be disappointed. Manage your expectations. There will be many, many other women just like you there. RR won't know one from the other (not if he has a sane bit of gray matter between his ears). This is NOT going to be a one-on-one with RR. He never said it would be. Who ever got the idea that he would be giving - what? - the same 3 minutes of his time to - "invitees"? Oh, please. Do you really think he's taking attendance? That someone is keeping track through these blogs who is going and who isn't? That the hotel will apprise him of who has made reservations and who has checked in? Did he at any time ASK who would be attending? NO! It is not part of his agenda.

Think about it. Seriously. Before you spend your hard-earned $ to go hundreds of miles for. I hope it's to meet with your fellow 'bloggettes'. That will be your realization. I might suggest a 'Plan B' for entertainment, too.

I've tried to stay away from the fracas, but honestly, I don't want all of you starry-eyed romantics getting more excited by this venture than it is.

Keep it sane. Keep it realistic. Have fun with and amongst each other - and remember WHY you joined in this endeavor: Romance and Adventure.
So it may not turn out exactly the way we would all want. Who cares? Who commented on the lottery odds? You (we) all have better than lottery chances! But REMEMBER: This is entirely a subjective decision on RR's part. It won't matter how well you dress up, act, or flirt.

Just "manage your expectations" a bit. Go -Go for the fun of it! if you keep it in that light, you won't regret it! If it's too expensive, don't go. It won't change a thing, as far as RR's decision is concerned. Or we will see.

Been there, fell for it. And I'm still hopefull, but very cautious.

Best to all.

Suzan

Richard just in case you've forgotten my email address and you want to take me up on that offer here ya go.

mtnflowers@cableaz.com

ForestHills Just an FYI. At no time have I felt that I ever had a chance to meet RR or would even like him. I am going to California with a bunch of really neat ladies that I met on this adventure.

Also, Richard has too much to lose not to be nice to us. He has been totally stand offish in everyway to get his job done and that is "Promoting Romance For All Ages"

I do believe that RR may really be looking for his "Soulmate" but I do not believe he will find it in this forum unless the other person can do some name dropping for him. LOL.

I feel what you are saying right to the core of my heart, because I do sense that there are a lot of very vulnerable women here. I am not one of them. I've been through way too much hell in my life to step back into it. I like my freedom and who I am and any man would be extremely lucky to latch onto me. It's not that they haven't tried, I just haven't found the right one that gives me that sparkle in my eye and a little flutter in my heart. I may die being a single woman, but I won't die unhappy.

Hello Richard and Ladies,
I'm looking forward to the meeting in MB. It'll be fun to meet some of you Ladies, I'm sure I'll recognize you from the pics you have here on the Blog. You'll recognize me as the BBBB...Big,Beautiful,Bodacious, Babe....LOL

Richard, I hope your speaking engagements go well this week. I think it's wonderful to be able to share your film with so many people. I think it's a one of a kind film. I would have loved to have done something like that with my Dad. Thanks also for letting us in on a couple of the men who have been working with you. Anything that is worth anything is always a team effort. By the time the Journey is over you'll need to run 20 minutes of credits!

I'm up so early-late because I'm getting ready to get out of "Dodge" for a week to visit friends in Vancouver,WA. I don't know if I'll be on the computer very much due to the fact that I'll be busy with seeing horses and Dressage, eating some awesome seafood, hearing my friend sing, and teach a voice lesson for his 11 year old student, and seeing some great sights.

In defense of Richard and this whole endeavor: Ladies, we need to give him the benefit of the doubt. We also need to be adaptable(I believe he wants that in a travel partner). Not everything has gone according to plan. We have to remember that Richard the traveler sometimes goes by the seat of his pants, to go where his spirit leads. One thing I truly believe is that the man is honest and is trying to do the right thing. He has to think of himself first. This endeavor has and will change his life. The woman or women who will be traveling with Richard should be ready for their lives to be changed also. Sooo if any of you have something stuck in your "craw" now just think what it would be like traveling with Richard.... To sum it up: go with the flow, that's where the adventure begins.
All the best to all of you,
The Operawench

Good Morning........its 5:19 am here in Northern California. Over the past 20+ years whenever I've gone to Southern California it was to take the children to Disneyland. The last time was in 2002. WWWWWWEEELLLLLLL....this time it is for me solely and no one else. Actually, I lived there (So. Pasadena) for a few years when I was first married. My first son was born at Queen of Angels the second son Hollywood Pres.

I'm only going Friday am thru Saturday am. I'm going to NOT be casual, I'm going to meet new people, stay in what looks to be a nice hotel. At the airport I'm going to rent a car (probably a convertible). If I don't like what I see and hear I will take the car and cruise around the beachy areas.

It is just wonderful to be able to make the choice of what I want to do. I can make it fun or I can make it crappy. I will make it the first of the two.

I doubt that I will even meet Richard (Dick) and that is ok too. But I would like to know the lagistics of the program, an agenda, sumpin' like that. Will we be getting an 8X10', autographed, glossy of RR? j/k
Any party favors? again j/k

I agree with some of the stuff that Forrest Hills and LA DOLCE VIDA have stated but in the end we all have to make our own decisions.
For instance I will not be a part of the cruise (love ship), but a lot of you will and you'll have a great time, that's wonderful.

Anywho, maybe its to early in the am to be blogging, but I can't sleep because of the houseboat trip, we depart from the marina Thursday afternoon (I'm captain and will be operating that 56'er) Fair warning to anyone traveling the San Joaquin Delta this week-end *grin*. Not only does that have me excited but tomorrow is the day my mother and father were so excited that I was going to meet them for the first time 50 years ago. Well, maybe my mom at certain stages of the 17th of August wasn't THAT excited (more meds!!!!) Oh yeah, and I have to go to DMV and get my new DL before tomorrow! (yuck)

So..... y'all go out there be safe getting to and from work or shopping, or vacationing, or whatever you may be doing today.

I look forward to meeting at least a handful of you on the 1st of September, then I look forward to the Dobbie Bros concert Saturday night (Taking it to the streets).

Best Regards,

PS Thank you for the tip regarding the newsletter thingy.
And please pardon me for any words spelled incorrectly. I still cannot work spell check and don't feel like running downstairs for the dictionary. Bye-bye now.

But i want my RR to be at the end of the red carpet with his arms awaiting for mine. I had a dream last night that i didn't have to kiss a warty prince. RR was there on his knees holding a diamond ring. As i ran towards him, I noticed my bridesmaids holding a "what the Hey!" ......holding a bucket.... calling "ralph" and then i woke up :-)

Good Morning Ladies,
Please accept my apologies if anyone felt that I was trying to rain on their parade.! In no way was I trying to be a Naysayer(sp?), I think Forest Hills and Debby Eddy got my drift. I in no way doubt for one second that ANY of you ladies going there are "stars in your eyes", "can't see the forest for the tree's" silly females, NEVER!!!
I guess I'm just coming from that place that say's "here we go again" someone saying one thing and before you know , BAM, it turns out to be something else.DESERTFLOWERS I know you said in your bio that your"picker was broken", it's not!!! This is what I have learned, "every time I get that little twingh in my gut or that little gnawing inside my head, or I hear something or feel something and I ignore any or all of these that's when I make a mistake"! KIDDO'S, that's your "picker" talking to you! Your gut, that thingy that we've got left over from the time of caveman. Call it instinct, call it a 6th sense, call it "old tapes playing in your head", WHATEVER,but learn to listen to it. Ancient man knew it and used it, we've evolved to such a degree that we ignore it. Certainly we don't have to watch out for tigers lurking behind bushes, but that doesn't mean that there aren't things to beware of. By no means is this a "bitter womans" comments, if anything I sometimes wonder how sooo many of us beautiful, highly intelligent, talented , experianced ladies manage and yet we keep on "trucking". We go on in hopes that someone is out there and just hasn't come along yet, even with all the "hell" as Desertflower puts it that we've ALL been through,if this wasn't true RR would not have been able to have this whole big "Magilla" going on.
I also truely believe that should all of this pan out as it was originally stated there would not be one JEALOUS women here. We would all be smilimg like mom's seeing their child do something she had been working to acheive for a long time! Cheering her on.
I feel that CB got it right .It seems to me she "got all this" when she went off on her journey "on her own". It seems to me it was meant to be more then just a "buying" trip for her jewelery line. She was seeking other things too and from the sound of it she found it. KUDDO'S TO YOU KIDDO! If you all recall she from the beinging stated she was not sending in a video for many reason's. I did catch her referance to her hesitation in doing so due to her daughter's job position's and not having clarity as to what RR would exactly be doing with them as "sole property" of his since we would be relinqishing all rights. I too have been concrened with that. I had asked RR waaaay back a long time ago that same question due to the fact my daughter is also very much in a position that she is a known face because of her job.I asked him in an e-mail and on the blog site, but alas no response.

I guess the main feeling I have here is I cannot ignore my gut and try second guessing myself like I have a tendancy to do and then later on say "I knew it" I should have listened the first time. I too would love to meet up with all you gals, Cal. would be a blast. Finances won't allow it, (going to Florida end of this week with some of my family)but hopefully on RR's Chicago trip I can hook-up with those that make it over here.I can still meet up with all you gals (the invitation to put people up still stands) but I know I won't be standing around a room with gazillions of women for ONE MAN, remember he's just "a man",just as we are just "a women"
I mean just the visual of it!!!!!, like a harem. I thought we went to war to eradicate that whole concept.
That's enough, I'm getting diarerra of the mouth here.Too bright eyed and bushy tailed in the AM.
Peace out, love for all,later.

Good Morning All...

I'm as usual late to the party...but it's been
a great dialogue today!!!
I wish I could go to this event and meet y'all
or fly to Arizona and join the van group...
but alas my sensible self says,"if you're not
sending in a video then save your $$$".

All of you who are going to connect with your
new found friends...big cheer...it will be so
much fun...casual or dressy...my guess is
dress to the photo of the hotel...quite the
fancy lobby!!!

This is all so different than how I tho't it
would play out...presumed RR would have
private meetings with his chosen and
then go on O's show. This is turning into
a free for all!!!

Being a fatalist, I'm cheering those who
go...You'll Never Know Unless YOu Go...
but maybe you'll sit next to MR. Wonderful
on the plane and set off on a GRANDER
LOVe and Adventure!!!!

RR: if the Hotel fills up will there be an
alternate hotel?

Wow, lots of questions. While Pop&Me is being shown, I have some time to try and answer some queries.... I did not make plans to meet people from Texas and Louisiana as there is not any spare time in my schedule. Please bear in mind that since January 10, I have done virtually nothing else but Senior Bachleor related activities.... A Newsletter is coming out very soon, possibly within an hour. Some people commented that they had not received the last one or two Newsletters. There is no significance to that, just a computer glitch. Everyone receives the Newsletters that signed up. If you do not receive at least one a week, please re-sign up. Thanks. The upcoming Newsletter will make it clear that anyone can show up for the September 1 and 2 meeting. There are no invitations, and the more the merrier, as far as I am concerned. And yes, the cab fare is about $12 from LAX to the Ayres Hotel. It's less than 10 minutes away! Re a "cut-off" if too many peole show up. No, there isn't one. Again, I have no idea how many people will show up, and in case the Ayres is filled, there are other nearby hotels.....I get a little exercised when comments are made by writers who present them as facts. For example, the gentleman who helps with PR had nothing to do with the new picture on the website. I guess I'll have to keep saying this....good publicity, like People Magazine, is extremely good for "the Cause." And when people "knock" it, or call it "tacky" well, quite frankly, they just don't get it.. the few negative people commenting have also brought up the idea that I am somehow benefitting financially from these meetings. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I do not receive one penny from the Ayres Hotel, and in fact, they have been extremely cooperative and generous in allowing us to use their gorgeous property, and at a special reduced rate. Only one or two of commenters keep the idea up that this is a money-making endeavor. Believe me, it is anything but!! I am assuming, by myself, very high expenses for the website, etc., and I m happy to do it. When people claim otherwise, well, they have no idea what they are talking about. I'll say it again...I would dearly love to have a sponsor-that is an appropriate one. I would dearly love to have another segment on a television show, or a magazine article, or the like-all of this only Promotes Romance and Adventure for People Of All Ages. When people question these motives, in fact, they are not supporting this mission, for reasons I don't know. That's it for now. Best wishes to all, Richard Roe

Richard, I really like this news letter and your last comments on the blog. I won't be able to make it to the function on Manhattan Beach, and I wish you could have visited with some of the ladies in La. and Tx. It certainly is understandable the time constraints you are under. I want to say that when you mentioned Enterprise Car Rental, I was tickled pink. They are my favorite people. I lease from them at least once a month and more often at times. I just love all the kids they hire - well trained, well mannered, polite and always just the very best of care to a Senior. I just love all of them. A Great, Great American organization. I was raisd in Louisiana and now live in Texas, went to school in Houston. Oh Well!!!

Richard, you are very gracious indeed. I don't even know how some people would even think you'd be interested in them with all of that negativity spewing from their thoughts. If this is what they're like over the internet, what would happen in person if something was said or done they didn't like? What happens if the women who sent in videos and bios takes up much of your time, and then they don't get to see or talk to you as much as they're hoping? I don't even want to think about their attitudes then if it'll be anything like what's been put here in the blogs. I'm glad you have a panel of people who will be helping you to make selections because women can see right through women, and some of these ladies need to be seen through.

Some valuable (from where i sit!) input from me to y'all:

I had the priviledge of working on Palliative Care Unit for several years and learned first hand the "true value of life"
A very wise and wonderful woman on the unit once told me that to live life to its fullest and die peacefully there are 4 important and valuable "life lessons" to practice ALWAYS:

Learn to say (and truly mean) you are sorry

Learn to say (and truly mean) I forgive you

Learn to say (and truly mean )I love you

Learn to live life without regret!

I applaud you Suzan for your courage to apologise, you don't have to be big to be brave!!

I feel that there seems to be a little back biting and a titch of negativity that crops up from time to time up on this Blog.....

So people and friends I say to y'all....come on!!!!........

Hello Richard, Ladies,

I can't get off work to go to LA, and even though I am on the East Coast, I would have loved to go (money or no money!). I am itching to go on the plane. I have dropped too many people to the airport lately.
Can't make it to Chicago either as I will be enjoying myself at Ocean City that week-end. Family first.

New York sounds great. only 4hrs by bus $22 from Chinatow, DC to Chinatown, NY! I have some meditation partners I loved to visit as well.

Romance is easier when you are younger? maybe, depending on how young? Some of my daughter's friends, both male and female are having a hard time finding their soulmate (early 30's crowd). DC is very goal, money (greed) and power oriented. no time for romance!

I would have loved to jump on the plane and go to Texas and Louisiana. I do a lot of things on the spur of the moment. My motto: go with the flow and enjoy the ride, or the swim!!!

We are getting a storm and I don't want to crash. I love storms, so much energy!

Hmmm ...

Evening all :)

Well .. where to start ...

Suzan .. you're a very authentic person but then I know that from the very beginning of this blog. All the other people who blog regularly are also authentic ie CB, Suzanne aka desertflowers, Leslie, BDNC (although was beginning to think you had a lobotomy today *LOL*), CJ, Happy, Clickgirl, Linda (Tucson), Dolce Vida, Klew, Heiresschild (not Paris Hilton :)), Mary Rose, Operawench ............ MAJOR APOLOGIES IF I'VE MISSED ANY OF THE REGULARS.

Think the Anonymous posters should be ignored based on the fact that they don't identify themselves in any shape, form or size!. Some others also gush a lot ..... IMO weird cause they don't know the person they're gushing to/at!!!!!!! Interesting Suzan that you got a personal response from RR ... wey hey. Jeez I was madly scrolling for an apology for his bad tempered deletions of my opinion and to my knowledge didn't get any .... but c'est la vie.

Saw your post girl earlier screaming for help from me. Don't think you need it now ;).

Bit of mental mania going on at the moment .... *taking 2 steps back to take stock* LOL

To Anon,

Think or know?
We act or react according to who we are. We all have had different experiences, upbringing and we have different lessons to learn. The more we know who we are and have worked on our triggers, the more we will act instead of reacting with frustration, anger, fear, you name it. I am talking about life in general here but if this triggers you you may want to ask yourself why? there is no judgment here. I've worked on my triggers for a long time. It is like an onion. I/we peel layer after layer, eventually I/we will get to who I/we really are, a Divine Being having a human experience.

Cj: I'd like to answer you here about my blog about the rape and attempting rape. even after that happened I was never afraid of men. One bad apple does not mean the whole barrel is rotten. My marriage was traumatic as well but it was not one sided. Even though we love each other a lot we also drove each other totally crazy!

Phyl, sometimes I have to take a step back also but I am still here. glad to be included on your list. LoL

Heiresschild,

I tried to go back to college to get a degree in psy when I came here I was bored, it was not my cup of tea. So no, I don't have a formal degree. I started my spiritual development after my divorce 25 yrs ago, went to many retreats, workshops, read tons of books and applied what I learned. At the beginning, I had my hands in everything: numerology, tarot, healing, astrology (too many numbers and data for me) crystals, stones,Eastern philisophy, Native Indian way of life, (A Cherokee medicine man gave me the name: Little Wild Cat), different ways of meditating, you name it until I narrowed it down to healing and that is my calling.
If you are interested check my website, this week-end I even put my pictures at the end (from 2yrs ago). I could not find a name I liked so my friend and HMR teacher told me use your name in it. so it is:www.MyriamEnergy.com

Hi Richard and fellow bloggers,
I am all moved into to my new apartment. I finally got to sleep in my own bed for the first time since April. I can't find my regular sheets yet, so flannel will have to do in Miami weather until I hit that linen store in the morning.
I had my son and his wife over for dinner tonight, and I actually cooked my favorite "welcome to our new home meal". Spaghetti. As a former military wife, that first home cooked meal is a steady force of nature in my family.
As for meeting Richard over Labor day weekend in California. I am flying 2 of my 3 children into see me for my 47th birthday on September 4th. I am throwing myself a beach babeque for family and friends for my birthday. I haven't seen my children on my birthday in a few years and while I would love to meet you all, I want my kids around me more.
I have had computer issues lately, cell issues lately, so I am just now catching up on the Senior Bachelor news. My attitude is just keep laughing at lifes little blips.
So have a great time everyone. I know I will. If a hurricane doesn't chase us out of Florida for Labor day weekend again.
Have an awesome day everyone,

Richard I hope you are not thinking that I am the negative one. Your last message to Suzan aka Forest Hills indicated that you might even have what these women are looking for in a man “compassion”. You’ve certainly increased your chances for meeting some very lovely woman in a more positive light. I know what you mean when you say things that come out the wrong way…”seems to be the story of my life”…open mouth insert entire body. LOL

Although, I’ve often said that you and I would not be a match, simply because I thought you were way too rude at times. (I say it like I see it) I don’t like pompous people and you were showing the characteristics of someone very pompous. The hardest part is not being able to talk directly to you. That’s why I said we wanted to see the softer gentler Richard. I would love for you to prove me wrong. My soul mate doesn’t need to take me on an expensive trip to prove his worth to me, he doesn’t have to take me shopping on Rodeo Drive, or buy me fancy cars or diamonds….he just has to treat me with kindness and with a gentle spirit, in a loving respectful fashion. The playfulness comes after the awkwardness.

I’m so pleased that you wrote a message that showed some feelings. But you did say that was not an easy subject for men….feelings.

Hi Suzanne......just a little teeny, tiny, teeny bling-bling can be nice. But thats just me.

I hope that we aren't going to be using name tags at the cocktail party/bbq. Part of the fun will be guessing who's who, yes? (with the exception of those who have posted their pictures on the blog site). But most everyone goes by an alias. I didn't do that, should I have? I ams what I ams (Popeye)

OMG.......its 2:56am here and I just woke up after falling asleep on the couch. I just realized (after seeing the date on the prior blog) that I am offically 50. It didn't even hurt (not like it did when I turned 30 and cried all day). Actually, I feel better now (about lots of things) than I ever have in my entire life!!!!!

Happy Birthday to me. And if Wilard Scott (is he still on the Today show?) is still doing the Smucker's thang in 50 years I will be on the show with my little picture inside the Smucker's label *grin*. Seriously, I have been so blessed in my life and I am so thankful for the good and even some of the bad (it has helped me to be who I am today).

So today I'm going to pamper myself and my two daughter's 20 and 25 (the eldest flew in from Denver on Friday and then all five of my children hosted a surprise party for me last Saturday) oh yeah, where was I. Oh we are going to start the day with manicures, pedicures, lunch out and then I have to shop for the food and beverage for the five day houseboat trip!!!!!!

Some call me nifty
Some think I'm a little bit shifty
No one can call me thrifty
My mom and dad can't believe that today I'm...........50

Hugs and XOXOXOX to all.

A Happy Debby Eddy

Be thankful for all you've been given from your creator.

Only bring your video if you want to share it with other people. However, It is very important for everybody to bring a copy of their biography. We are working on some fun events, and everything is shaping up to be an early Labor Day Weekend party!!! And I love good parties. Best wishes, Richard Roe

... and Happy Birthday Debby Eddy! The reason I'm asking to bring a copy of your biography is simply the logistics of bringing any of my files to the hotel or making copies of the originals. It just won't work and will take too much time. If you can help me with that it will most appreciated! We'll have name tags which we will mark if you have submitted materials. Of course, you can put any other marks on them to identify yourselves to others.

Hey, I just got an email from the Murad Day Spa near the Ayres Hotel. They are going to put together a goodie bag of sample products for the ladies who attend. RichardJust sent you an email to let you know my package will arrive tomorrow, and then got a call telling me it will arrive on Friday, instead. So...

Today in class I found an awesome quote from a Marianne Williamson book. Thought it appropriate so will share with you.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves,'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do...as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

So, as long as we're not boastful or arrogant about our talents and gifts, why not take pride in them! Use them to help others reach for the stars - after all, "if a man's reach does not exceed his grasp, then what's a heaven for?"

You're doing a great job with this adventure and I'm sure under a lot of pressure we don't know about. I'm really looking forward to meeting the "real" Richard and sneak a peek beneath the surface.

LadiesSorry some of you can't come, but we will try to have a good time, anyway. There's always the cruise(s)to look forward to.

Here it is from the Inaugural Adrress of Nelson Mandela, President of South Africa.

(MW started it the same way, she changed some of the wording in the last paragraph.)

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frighten us. We ask ourselves,"Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Acutally, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. YOur playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the Glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us. It's in everyone, and, as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberate others."

MW will be in DC at the Department of Peace Conference, Sept 10to 12 with among others Congressman John Conyers, Rep Dennis Kucinich,Walter Cronkite
Patch Adams, Barbara Marx Hubbard
Jonathan Schell and more.

Brenda, I may be able to go on the 11th as I will be out of town that week-end.

And … thanks for sharing that great quote. I love Marianne Williamson! Have several of her books … and, like Linda, feel that her writing helped to carry me through some tough times. Also – love the new pics at your site … and the new quotes. You’ve been busy!

Hi Miriam: Thanks for adding to what Leslie sent. Such great words!! Also - that conference sounds incredible!

Hey CB: Ditto! – on your comment to CJ! We are ‘with you’ Girl!! I also left you a message at ‘my place’.

Happy B’Day Debby Eddy!! Hope it was a fabulous 50!

Last, but certainly not least, Hello Richard So sorry that I’m not going to be able to make it out to L.A. – as I’ll be in a video edit all that week … and can’t wiggle my way out of it. Would love the chance to meet you … and the great friends I’ve met through this venture. Possibly can make some of the Chicago ‘party’ with the East Coast Girls … but will wait for further details from you. Or … if you go to Atlanta … my folks live two hours north – in the north GA mountains. Beautiful country … and any excuse to go up that way … I take. : ) I know you will have a great time in Manhattan Beach … and you have some absolutely beautiful and fantastic women joining you out there! You are one lucky guy! : ) Enjoy!!

Powerful words from Nelson Mandela. Strikes me that these in particular apply to our very own richard....

"We were born to make manifest the Glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us. It's in everyone, and, as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberate others."

... don't you think with all that he has done by letting his "light shine" he has helped to liberate us?

Hi DesertFlowers....if this were a beauty pagent you would get my vote for Ms Congenality!!! With Clickgirl coming in at a real close second!

I too look forward to meeting those that communicate on this blog. A few years ago I would have NEVER thought of doing something like this (blogging and traveling alone to meet new people!) It is a good feeling however, to want to do this.

Will there be much free time during the day on Thursday? And I may just forego the Doobie Brother's concert and stay thru Friday evening.

I must confess today was a wonderful day for me, and I am in no way boosting about my special day. So if it appears that way to some I apologize.

When I returned from my afternoon with Sara and Abby there was a box sitting at my door and on it was stamped "Open Immediately" of course I couldn't wait. Inside were the most beautiful tropical flowers shipped in from Hawaii. Topped everything off quite nicely.

Well good-night to all from one exhausted 50 year old! Sweet dreams.

Thanks again for the b-day well wishes.

Hello Ladies, and Richard,

Happy Awesome 50 years Debby Eddy!!
I'm so happy you had such a great day with your family, and the cool suprise gift!!!! May you continue to grow in Wisdom and Grace.....:)

Iowa Gal, I saw a cute t-shirt the other day on a woman that said "Not everything in Iowa is flat".....thought of you, gave me a chuckle

Ladies, I've sent my RSVP to Richard, will call the hotel very soon, gas up the car, drive the couple of hours from San Diego,AND THEN SEE ALL OF YOUR SMILING FACES!!!!! I suggested to Richard in my email that if he can't meet with us individually that maybe he could meet with us Blog Ladies as a group! Do you think that would be fun???!!!

My Queen Mary story....there are ghosts on the Queen Mary! My exhusband,I and a friend spent the night on the ship. Our friend was in the front room of our suite. He remembered feeling a "presence" in the room, the room door being opened, and seeing a figure floating.....doo doo doo doo(The Twilight Zone theme)... It's a grand old ship and fun to visit!

Thanks for all the great encouragement that you Ladies post here!

See you all soon!

debby eddy Thank you for the nice compliment, but I cannot take the credit alone. I think it is the spirit of all of every woman here that makes it so much fun. These women are talented, creative, articulate, insightful, intelligent, fun loving, high-energy and down to earth. (well most of them are down to earth – we do have a few that are out there). We’ve had great jokes, insightful comments, personal hurts, fears, and weaknesses shared here. I’m going to rent a mini-van that will hold at least seven women (I think). So if we have to squeeze everyone in we will to go see stuff in California.

Can’t wait to meet you!

Good Evening Ladies and RR, or should I say Good Morning !

Oyi, vhat a day should I had !!!!
So much to do, sooo little time.
This has seemed like one of the the shortest summers I've had in years. I spent 5 1/2 wks working in Albuqerque.I came home a week ago yesterday and I'll be leaving for Orlando on Friday.
One of my sister's has one of her time shares there and 4 of her six kids will be coming(her husband too!) and 2 of her 4 grandchildren. How's this, she's soon to be 53, married to the same guy right out of high school.
She has 6 kids, 32,29,26,24,all girls,1 boy 13, and another girl 9 yrs. old. AHHHHHHHHHHH, insanity! And to think she was the one that use to go around beating up the boys :)!, then she became mother earth. We're 4 sisters,(I'm the oldest, can't ya tell)Between us we have 11 kids, 10 girls,1 boy. Yeah,we are taking over.Anyway, my daughter is coming along so this will be fun, fun, fun, till RR takes my T-Bird away.

Here's the best of it, Carol, aka Travelin and Moi are going to hook-up for a visit !!!!!!!!!!!!!
NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH :)We beat ya all to it,lol. I will definatly take pics and share with all, bout time I learn to download my digital. All I'm going to do out there is swim with the Beluga's and the dolphins, maybe checkout Epcot, no "Magic Kingdom " for me, I plan to chill at the pool, sip some libations,(non-alcoholic/sp?)I'm into health stuffsiz, besides I'm crazy enough without having something add to it! :)
Can't wait to meet Carol.

Bloggets...... check out a message I left on Linda's blog, I think it sums up a lot of what is happening. The energy from all of this is so strong it's almost as if it has taken on a life of it;s own! I know it is how I feel, my vibes are never wrong, I'll tell ya all about it one day.

NOW ABOUT CHICAGO!!!!!!!!!!!
Any and all of you coming here need to get in touchwith me, go to my blog and e-mail me from there, I have it activated. There isn't anyone around that will be able to show it to you better then I. I am a kid born and raised here. I've lived in just about every neighborhood we have.(mom moved us around a lot) :(
I know all the great places to eat without having to spend a lot of money, same goes for great places to SHOP, IT'S ONE OF MY FEW PERSONAL ADDICTION'S, the other's being, SUN AND SHOES!
I can accomadate people in my home and my cousin works for the Hyatt Regency on Michigan Ave. and can get family rates(cheap)!
Come on down, up, or across to the party town!
Chat on ya's later, time for nighty-nite, it's 2:30am here,AGH!!

Hi, again.
I am not much of a “blogger”, but I LOVE reading those of you who are!
I just had to jump in here and say DITTO to what Debby Eddy said about Desert Flowers. Debby...Firstly, happy belated BD. I enjoyed everyone greeting you! Hey, girl, put something on your Blogger profile so we can get to know you better. I finally did mine, for those who are curious, but I still have not found the time to find a picture and post it. I will try to do that before we meet in MB. I am so anxious to meet you all!

Desert Flowers I agree with Debby’s designation of you as miss congeniality...you are adorable...always the cheerleader! Thanks for all your positive comments. And I love your website!

Forest Hills…love your chutzpa…AND your heart. My favorite picture of you is the very last one on your blog. You are really great looking, why did you pick such a picture for your postings? Please don’t take that as a negative…I’m just curious? It is such a “cutesy” picture and you just don’t come across as “cutesy”. It is so interesting to me some of the small choices all of us make!

Canadian Bloggette…you are a dream. I totally agree with others, you MUST compete in this “journey”. Your pictures on your blog are AMAZING…as are YOU! I thought I read somewhere that you WERE coming to SoCal, then I read somewhere else that you were not? Please tell me you are coming. I think you are DEFINITLY a soul mate of … SOMEONE, and need to pursue it!!

Response to what several other bloggers have commented:
I, too, totally discount what the “anonymous” have to say. If they are not willing to put themselves on the dotted line like the rest of you are, then they are not worth reading. Most, not all, but MOST of them are negative, anyway, so I will learn from the rest of you and not care what they have to say...
EXCEPT FOR:

MyriaminVA! Myriam, I think you are great…good insights, and also some chutspa. So, now I always scroll down to see if this “anonymous” is you before I read it. If it’s not you, I just keep going to the next comment. Why don’t you change that “anonymous” at the beginning of your messages.
And you, too, “dreamweaver”, aka “vj”…get out from under that “anonymous” heading. Your blogs are great, thought-provoking, and nothing to be ashamed of...so show yourself off!

I am having so much fun keeping up with you guys, but very little time to enter many comments. Whenever I have entered the discussion, I have been extremely entertained as I read your take-ups (and take-downs, but those were all “anonymous” SO I have now learned from some of you to just ignore those!) BTW, only “anonymous” made comments about my referring to RR as “naïve”, so I hope the rest of you took it’s meaning from it’s context. The issue to which I was referring, is his not knowing whether 10 or 200 women are going to show-up t his "meet and greets". It is my current belief that that is naïve, but in the most endearing of definitions!! I find it so cute that he doesn’t know that hundreds of women want to be his “one”. Now, if it turns out that we are all “blow-hards” and only ten of us DO show up, then I WILL gladly correct that comment to read “Richard is so realistic, and knew from the beginning that no one would come to his party”. BUT I REALLY DON’T THINK I’LL BE SAYING THAT, DO YOU??

So, as I read today’s entries at this ungodly hour (the only hour I have in the day to do this!) I just felt compelled to write about those of you who have made such a positive impression on me. You have certainly lifted me up and given me more confidence to not worry so much about being misinterpreted. You ladies are great examples!!

And about RR, who started all this. Regardless of the naysayers and those who “don’t trust him” (and who are also "anonymous", so I don’t trust THEM), I still believe Richard is a geat guy with his heart in the right place. I am so pleased he started us all on this trek. And I, too, want to help him promote “romance and adventure is alive and well for the 4 F’s”, or is it 5?...i've lost count! Regards, sharon
P.S. to LA DOLCE VIDA Just read your invitation before I "published" this! Be careful, your ivitation sounds so nice, you might even have a SoCal lady come see you!! Really nice blog, good job!

Chi-Town Girl Just read your post over on Linda’s site. Certainly makes me think. If I wasn’t going already to California to meet our little Peacock I would certainly want to come and visit you. But we will meet up some day. So neat that you and Travlin are hooking up for a meet. She sounds so terrific and such a wonderful grand-daughter.

Coach OK we’re going to meet you how exciting, I can’t wait. You’re sweet and I think I’d like to know you better. Do you have a email address that I can email you. Please post it on my site. You really are talking from the heart tonight (this morning). See what happens when people share so much, they share a little more, and a little more until it burst into a gigantic explosion. I love the fact that that so many feel comfortable enough to share so much of their private thoughts. I think a lot of us are on our guard and that’s why we say some things that aren’t maybe necessarily kind or respectful.

PHYL……do you have an email address I need to talk to you about something. It’s private. Here’s me mtnflowers.@cableaz.com

Good Morning Everyone,

This will be my last blog for a few days as I will be taking that long awaited houseboat trip on the Delta.

Captains log......(Star Trek, Cpt Kirk, remember?) Hope we don't run into any pirates aarrggghhh.

Since this is my trip and I planned everything, I, of course have overstocked, overpacked. You know you need to make everyone happy (but thats me, cause that makes me happy to be able to do that).

I have to take my 2-red eared slider turtles so I had a race track made for them and we will have turtle races onboard (told everyone to bring their $1's for the bets); remote control boat races with little (live) toads be hind the wheel of the boats; karaoke (I always spell that wrong!). Theme nights....Mexican night, Mardi Gras night, Celebration of everyone's life/luau....thats the big day (Sunday). The 56' houseboat will meet landlegged people at a designated park along the water and there will be ski boats, wave runners and lots of food and beverage.

I'm just hopong to God I don't run aground. But a male friend of mine came over last night and we.............oh, wait, what was I talking about *grin*, j/k. He was kind enough to chart my course for me (eeewww). We are stopping at several marinas and restaurants along out cruise.

I'm sitting in bed and from my window I can see the sunrising over the bridge that connects the Sacramento and Solano sides of the river. Really beaufitul. However, it is windy and I am told that is when it is difficult to manage one of those 56'er's. Wish me luck my new found friends!!!!

I will bring pictures of this event to the trip to MB if anyone might be interested in seeing them.

I can't wait to see the sunrise in MB too. Maybe we can do a group walk thing in the am along the beach (for the early risers). Do some chit-chatting along the way. CB, don't care what you say YOU are going to get my goodie bag!!!!

Take care and have a great week-end.

Deb Eddy

PS I would put more on my profile except I don't know how to!!!

"All of us" together, now I don't know about "yous guys" (little Chicago jargon) but in my part of town when the "gals" get together especially when we haven't seen each other for a while it's kinda hard to keep the chaos in control. We're usually all running at the mouth all at the same time!!!!!!! Can you just see it, Imean it's been fine in our present format but I mean, YIKES!
We're going to have to get an egg timer and a gavel :) :) :)
OH OH OH OH , ME NEXT ME NEXT, hands waving in the air.
Just couldn't keep fro sharing that.
Richard,......... How's your book coming along, I remeber you saying you were in the process of writing one on your travel experiances and the people you've met. You said that your plan was to have it completed in "2006". I'll bet that has been difficult to keep up with all this going on.

I hope RR does a new blog soon. I'm getting tired of seeing myself first thing, everytime I go to this Blog! COACH was right about this profile photo. I will change it to another, less "cutsie".

Anyhow, getting ready for a BIG shindig over here in Forest Hills: the tennis club I belong to has a lot of members in the entertainment business here in NY, and we often get really good acts at our functions. We're having Caribbean Night, with a couple of good groups to dance to! How I love it! And now with the US Open just around the corner, the club will soon be full of the tennis "Venerables" (old and young alike!) playing at the corporate outings there. I just love playing "hookey" from work during the Open, just to hobnob with these famous people before they head over to the Open! One of my regular tennis partners is the "banker" to the stars! Her portfolio of clients is a real "Who's Who"! You never know who's going to show up as Barbara's guest!

Well, back to work for me!
Where's PHYL???

Okay, okay, I've had many requests to put these "words of wisdom" on this site:

It's Great to be a Woman

We got off the Titanic first.
We can scare male bosses with the mysterious gynecological disorder excuses.
Taxis stop for us.
We don't look like a frog in a blender when dancing.
No fashion faux pas we make could ever rival the Speedo.
We don't have to pass gas to amuse ourselves.
If we forget to shave, no one has to know.
We can congratulate our team mate without ever touching her rear end.
We never have to reach down every so often to make sure our privates are still there.
We have the ability to dress ourselves.
We can talk to the opposite sex without having to picture them naked.
If we marry someone 20 years younger, we are aware that we will look like an idiot.
We will never regret piercing our ears.
There are times when chocolate really can solve all your problems.
We can make comments about how silly men are in their presence because they aren't listening anyway.

Hey Debby! How nice you are! I feel honored to be right behind DesertFlowers in the Ms. Congeniality category! (ha ha) But, as Suzanne so rightly says … it is a combination of all of our personalities together that makes it such fun.

So glad you had a nice day today. When I turned 50 – I couldn’t resist telling everyone that I had lived half a century. It is a ‘proud’ moment. (Though my friends probably thought I was ‘nuts’).

Have a wonderful trip on the Houseboat! I can’t wait to see pics when you return! And Blessings on you as you travel!

Hi Chi-Town Girl / La Dolce Vida: I’ll leave you a message on your site. If you and Travelin are meeting up in Orlando – I might be able to hook up with you also.

Also - a lot of us have been getting that Blog Spam. I had to delete about 6 yesterday. Ugh! Guess it comes with the territory.

OnryNurse: Hope things go well with your surgery. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hope you have a very quick recovery. We’ll look to hear from you when you are back at your ‘puter.

Suzan: I thought your pic was cute too. : ) It reminds me of a friend of mine, every time I see it. Very fun!

Hey Sunni: Good for you, Girl! Hope you have a great night. ; )

A Nonny Mouse: I think that the ‘Anonymous’ posters who put their names … or ‘a name’ … are not really thought to be ‘Anonymous’ anymore. Like you and Miriam. We know who you are – because you always include a name. You are ‘one of us’. : ) Only those who just write – and don’t identify themselves in some way – make it hard to really get to know them. And you! You have one of my favorite names on here. So clever.

N.Y.! I love N.Y.! My son is leaving tomorrow, with his adorable girlfriend, to go to the Red Hot Chili Peppers Concert in N.Y. – to celebrate their one year anniversary. : )

Good night Ladies! Good night Richard!

Instructions for cleaning the toilet:

1. Lift the lid on the toilet and fill it with 1/8 cup of animal shampoo.

2. Take the cat in your arms and stroke it gently while slowly moving in the direction of the toilet.

3. At a suitable moment, throw the cat into the toilet bowl and close the lid quickly and either stand or sit on the lid.

4. The cat will now start the cleaning process and will produce generate plenty of foam. Do not be concerned about the loud noises coming from the toilet; your cat is enjoying himself.

5. After several minutes flush the toilet to start the “Power-wash” pre-wash and then flush again for the main wash cycle.

6. Ask someone to open the front door and ensure that no-one is between the toilet and the front door.

7. Get off the toilet seat and from a safe distance open the toilet lid quickly. The cat will dry off naturally due to the high speed he will be moving from the toilet to the front door.

8. The toilet and the cat are now both clean.

With best wishes,

The Dog

Thanks for not scrolling through. I've been on the blog since June I think, but I see how it's better to put some kind of a name. I never blogged before this, I'm starting to catch on and learning alot from you all. I've been thinking about signing up for the blog and putting on travel pictures, but don't have so much time.

I Love the name Nannynanny Boo Boo so clever!

Is everyone pretty much going on the cruise? Just wondering. Hope so!
